INSME’s Colombian member Propaìs has shared their latest endeavours on the “Impulso Local” and “Microempresa Local” projects that are taking place in Bogotà, starting in 2022 and will end in 2024. The purpose of these programs is to strengthen microenterprises and microbusinesses through technical assistance, investment plan formulation and capitalization, in order to promote the sustainability and productivity of businesses belonging to the population with the greatest social and economic gaps in the capital city.
Working in close contact with the Municipality of Bogotà, who also finances these projects, Propaìs is working intensely towards the strengthening and consolidation of MSMEs affected by the crisis generated by COVID 19, focusing mainly on businesses owned mothers, young people, people over 55 years of age, microenterprises oriented towards green conversion, people with disabilities, victims of the armed conflict, cultural and creative microenterprises, and members of ethnic communities. It also aims for consolidation of business skills through training modules for micro and small businesses in business and commercial subjects.
Propaìs’ accomplishments represent a Best Practice in the field and have been shared on INSME’s specific page collecting success stories.
