On the 28th of February 2020 the St. John’s Innovation Centre of Cambridge will host a co-creation workshop INSME organises in the framework of the XPRESS project to discuss the role of Green Public Procurement (GPP) in boosting innovations in renewables and explore the challenges, the opportunities and the barriers local authorities and SMEs have to deal with.
The co-creation workshop taking place in the United Kingdom will analyse the British environment and participants – namely public authorities, innovative SMEs and academia representatives – will explore:
- How to boost innovation in renewables (RES) through GPP
- How GPP on RES will contribute to reach the Sustainable Development Goals
- How to support policy makers in boosting the RES market through GPP.
