About IPR in China
   Copyright Protection in China

Copyright is a valuable form of intellectual property that protects a creator's exclusive right to control. Nearly all SMEs possess copyrights. Copyright protection is granted as soon as a work is created, without having to register.
Once a work is created, in most cases, it will automatically enjoy copyright protection in all 164 member countries of the Berne Convention for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Works including all major economies, European countries and in China. However, voluntary registration is available in China to prove ownership.
